The UNICEF birthday allows us to reflect on the theme of unaccompanied minors. The past and current work of Océane Uzureau on unaccompanied minors' trajectories within Europe and differentiated access to care systems and humanitarian assistance according to their legal status, is an interesting way to highlight the right to protection and non-discrimination. Océane will draw on her field research within the ChildMove project and focus on the minors’ experiences and perspectives about the care they received.

Océane Uzureau is currently a PhD candidate in Educational Sciences at Ghent University (CESSMIR) and a member of the ChildMove team.
