Myria presents the research report “Moving to Belgium as an EU citizen”

Cover Myria StudyOn Friday 10 December 2021, the Belgian Federal Migration Centre (Myria) presented the study “Moving to Belgium as an EU citizen”, conducted by members of the Migration Law Research Group as well as the consortium members of law firm Fragomen and the University of Kent.

The study assesses the municipal practices regarding the registration of EU workers and their family members in Belgium. The report contains an analysis of European and Belgian law and policy, an empirical study on municipal practices and a comparative analysis of registration practices in five other EU member states (the Netherlands, France, Germany, Luxembourg and Italy).
