  • Samenvatting [en]: Devoloping an adapted education in port and marine sciences. The education in port management has been stressed, bearing in mind the importance of the port sector for the further development of the country, and more specifically the transport. Education is situated on postgraduate level. The project results in a multimedia course in port management (CD-Rom) for the Dalian Maritime University & the port authorities in the Dalian Region.

  • Samenvatting [en]: Developing an adapted education in port and marine sciences. The education in port mangement has been stressed, bearing in mind the importance of the port sector for the further development of the country, and more specifically the transport. Education is situated on a postgraduate level and aims at students with an economic training. Multimedia technologies are being used as an integral part of the education program (courses, video, ...) resulting in the production of a CD-ROM.

  • Samenvatting [en]: In this study the legal and administrative aspects of the modernization of the access to the ports of Ghent and Terneuzen are analysed. In concreto rises the question if, e.q. which type of new lock should be built in Terneuzen and what would be the legal and administrative consequences of the construction of such a lock with the possible deepening and/or widening of the sea canal.
