The Institute for Private International Law, Ghent European Law Institute and the Migration Law Research Group (Ghent University), together with the Department of Sociology and the Government & Law Research Group (UAntwerpen), are glad to invite you to the International Conference “(Dis)connecting People? The law and practice of family reunification” on 9-10 September 2021 in Ghent (Belgium).

This conference aims to establish a dialogue on family reunification between the legal and the social sciences, as well as to cross bridges between academia, policy and practice. Confirmed keynote speakers are prof. em. Kees Groenendijk and dr. Federica Infantino.
