Ingrida Milkaite and Eva Lievens speak at the Global Child Forum Digital

(30-11-2020) On 18 November 2020, Ingrida Milkaite and Eva Lievens talked about ‘Achieving child-friendly transparency by involving children in the creation and design of data protection information’

They talked at the Digital ActionLab Series organised by the Global Child Forum. Founded in 2009 by the Swedish Royal Family, Global Child Forum is a sleading forum for children’s rights and business dedicated to innovative thinking, knowledge-sharing and networking.
Ingrida and Eva shared insights obtained through the organisation of co-creation workshops with 83 children between 9 and 12 in Ghent. In the workshops researchers talked to children about privacy and data processing, and asked them for recommendations on how information regarding the processing of their data should be offered to them
