Nadia Feci and dr. Valerie Verdoodt present their research on regulating influencers to the World Health Organisation


On 27 June 2022, Nadia Feci and dr. Valerie Verdoodt presented some preliminary findings of their ongoing research on the regulation of influencers and branded content before the WHO European Action Network on Reducing Marketing Pressure on Children.

The meeting was organised by the WHO Regional Office for Europe and brought together various academic experts on marketing to children to share their ongoing research and provide recommendations for health policy officials of Member States belonging to the network.

During the meeting, several of the participants expressed their explicit interest in the presented research, and stressed that the WHO should take further action in this area.
