Natalia will give a public lecture on Tuesday 27th of March “Censorship of literary translation in Russia and the Soviet Union”. The lecture will be devoted to translation activism in Russia. Briefly overviewing the 400 year-long history of literary censorship in the country, Natalia will focus on the literary translation and censorship in the 20 century Russia and speak about the people who channelled the knowledge of foreign literary works in the times of close control of all publishing activities.
