(08-07-2021) Curious about what UGent TechTransfer & the Industrial Research Fund (IOF) can do for you as a researcher? Then take part in one of our 3 online info sessions.

Get out of the building

Researchers are challenged in many areas and are driven to make a difference with their research. That is why UGent TechTransfer and the Industrial Research Fund (IOF) offer a range of services and funding for researchers who want to boost their research. “With our unique valorisation structure within the UGent Association, we will continue to focus in the coming years on supporting, sensitizing and motivating researchers to get more out of their research,” says Wim Van Camp, general manager UGent TechTransfer. We already give 1 tip from Omar Mohout, former technology entrepreneur, acclaimed technology author, advisor for fast-growing startups and Fortune 500 companies and affiliated as professor of entrepreneurship at the Antwerp Management School: "Get out of the building! Valorize your research, listen to the needs of the market and society and look for ways to find an answer in your research."
