Molecubes wins international design award

(08-02-2019) Ghent University spin-off Molecubes has won the iF Design award.

The iF Design Award has been the hallmark of high quality and outstanding design for 65 years. All winning entries will be included in the iF World Design Guide and in the iF design app, and will be given a place in the iF design exhibition in Hamburg.

MOLECUBES is a spin-off from Ghent University and its preclinical Infinity lab. MOLECUBES developed, together with FabLab UGent and TEN, a compact (pre) clinical benchtop scanner for body scans of mice and rats. The scanners are used in research on rare diseases, tumor samples and new drugs. The sleek design, user-friendly interface and the absence of operational buttons make the Cube project a manageable and market-ready product.
