Payment and cancellation conditions

Payment conditions

The registration fee is due within 30 days following receipt of the invoice. Payment is possible through bank transfer with clear statement of the structured message on the invoice. Cash payments are not possible.

Cancellation by the participant

You are registered for an ICES-course as from the moment the standardized confirmation mail is sent to you by ICES. From that moment on the cancellation and payment conditions are in effect:

  • Cancelling for a course is always done in writing via mail.
  • Cancelling is free of charge in case of serious illness, accident or decease. Please inform us immediately via mail before the start of the course and send along the required medical certificates. The full registration amount will be reimbursed.
    • Please mind: if you requested training vouchers, you will also have to send the necessary certificates to VDAB to be able to cancel the vouchers and get a refund for the part you paid.
    • Please mind: Illness that leads you to miss one or several classes does not allow a cancellation free of charge.
  • Cancellation for any other reason leads to the following cancelllation procedure:
    • In case of cancellation up until 5 working days before the start of the course, 25% of the registration fee is due.
    • In case of cancellation within 5 working days before the start of the course, the full registration fee is due.
    • If you are unable to attend the course, instead of cancelling, you can choose to be replaced by a colleague from your company or departement. This is free of extra costs provided you inform ICES via mail before the start of the course.

Cancellation by ICES

ICES reserves the right to cancel an initiative for organisatonal reasons (eg. not enough registrations) or to postpone an initiative (eg. in case of illness of a teacher or unavailability of a location due to circumstances beyond ICES' control).

In this case all participants will be informed as soon as possible by mail or by phone.

  • In case of a cancellation, each participant will get a full refund of already paid fees.
  • In case of postponement to later dates, each participant will be given the choice to either transfer his or her registration to the new dates or to cancel with a full refund of already paid fees.
