Getting there

Using public transport

A 15 minute walk takes you from the Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station to the Botanical Garden. Walk across the Koningin Maria Hendrika square (in front of the station) bearing slightly to the right and enter the Koningin Astridlaan. Cross the Kortrijkse Steenweg at the end of this street. You are now in the Citadel Park. Continue in the same direction, keeping the tall ICC building (the International Congres Centre) on your left. You’ll see the garden’s entrance as soon as you’ve reached the Emile Clauslaan.

The following buses stop at the Ledeganckstraat (opposite the ICC’s entrance):

9 - 27 - 28 - 34 - 35 - 36 - 55 - 57 - 58 - 70 - 71 - 72 - 76 - 77 - 94 - 95

All these buses as well as numbers 73 and 74 link up the Ledeganckstraat with the Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station.
