(30-04-2020) Master Thesis projects on luminescent materials at the Department of Solid State Sciences are open for application! Video by David Van der Heggen

Do you wonder what our research is about and how you can help improve luminescent materials for sustainable applications?

Check out this short video by our very own David Van der Heggen about his work on persistent phosphors.

Students in the last year of the Master programme in "Physics and Astronomy" or "Engineering Physics" are welcome to join the LumiLab team for their Master Thesis project. Many materials from persistent phosphors to quantum dots are ready to be explored, either by various spectroscopic techniques or by computer simulations. Feel free to read about all available projects on our department website.
