(26-08-2020) Amélie De Muynck successfully defended her PhD research titled "Quality preservation, dosimetry, and Hounsfields units in X-ray micro-CT".

Amélie spent more than six years on teaching at the department of Physics and Astronomy, researching image quality topics in the field of X-ray micro-CT, and helping other users perform their experiments at the UGCT. Today she successfully defended her work, and with great sadness we now have to say goodbye.

We wish Amélie all the best with teaching science and maths in secondary school. And we rest assured that in a few years, a new PhD student will start who was enthused and well prepared by Amélie to study physics!
