Open position for a professor in experimental X-Ray physics in the context of high resolution Imaging

The Radiation Physics research group of the Department of Physics and Astronomy has a central role in the Center for X-ray Tomography of Ghent University. The group conducts research on virtually all aspects of the high-resolution X-ray imaging chain including the underlying physics, instrumentation development, imaging simulation, data acquisition and data processing methodology (including advanced tomographic reconstruction). With this position, the group wishes to further develop its fundamental research into X-ray imaging. The focus lies on the development of innovative techniques in a lab environment. A non-limiting list of possible topics includes phase contrast imaging, compact light sources, multi- and hyperspectral imaging, X-ray optics and X-ray ptychography.
