The website of the research project Smart*Light is online. This project aims to develop a "mini-synchrotron", i.e. a compact, mobile X-ray source with a really high flux and an adjustable wavelength. Such a source could fill the gap between lab-based CT (with a lower flux and therefore lower resolution) and synchrotrons (which are terribly expensive and therefore have very limited availability).

Impression of the source which will be developed in the project Smart*Light.
