Together with Greet De bruyn, Luc Willems is responsible for the daily management of our chemical lab. While Greet is mostly involved with the measurements on the Atomic Absorption Spectrometer, Ion Chromatography and colorimeter, Luc is mainly performing extractions and destructions for cation exchange capacity, total and exchangeable phosphorus and the phosphorus fractionation procedure. Luc and Greet were both closely involved with the development of the quality control system currently applied in the lab.

Besides being responsible for the chemical lab, Luc is further occupied with the daily management of the Aelmoeseneie forest.
