Anne-Catherine followed the International Master of Science in Soils and Global Change at UGent, BOKU & University of Göttingen. Her thesis project focused on the resistance and resilience of soil microbial communities to environmental stresses along a land-use intensification gradient. Since September 2025, she has been working in the SoFer group as a teaching assistant and PhD student. Her research focuses on biogeochemical cycles, under the supervision of Prof. Stefaan De Neve.
