AboutMSc. Orly Mendoza

Orly graduated as Agronomic Engineer at National University of Loja, Ecuador, where he worked as a teaching assistant at the Soil, Water and Plant Laboratory. He participated in soil and forestry research groups from Ecuador and Germany at San Francisco Research Station in Ecuador. After obtaining a scholarship from Senescyt-Ecuador, he has completed the interuniversity master program of Physical Land Resources organised by Ghent University and Vrije Universiteit Brussel. His project at SoFer focuses on studying the effect of exogenous organic matter dose on its degradability and native SOC priming effects, under supervision of Prof. Steven Sleutel and Prof. Stefaan De Neve and funding of Senescyt-Ecuador and Ghent University.
