Tisa Tüshaus

Tisa graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover, Germany, in 2024, where she followed the equine track. In September 2024, she began her PhD (FWO-SB, 1S95526N) under the supervision of Prof. dr. Catharina De Schauwer and Prof. dr. Sandra Van Vlierberghe.

Her research focuses on developing an equine osteoarthritis microsystem to investigate the therapeutic potential of mesenchymal stem cells, integrating advanced biomaterials with cell-based strategies.
