Biography

Ine Paeleman

Ine Paeleman is an Assistant Professor at the University of Antwerp. She received her Ph.D. in Business Administration from Ghent University in 2015. She was a visiting scholar at the Carlson School of Management (University of Minnesota) and did an internship at the National Bank of Belgium. Prior to joining the University of Antwerp in October 2018, she was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow of the Flemish Fund for Scientific Research (FWO) at Ghent University. She is still affiliated with Ghent University as a visiting professor.

Ine’s research interests crosses the traditional boundaries between entrepreneurship, management and finance disciplines. Her research focuses on entrepreneurial finance, slack resources, and international entrepreneurship. She has published in academic journals including Journal of Management Studies (2013, 2015), Journal of World Business (2017), Small Business Economics (2013), the Academy of Management Best Paper Proceedings (2012) and Frontiers of Entrepreneurship Research (2010, 2012). Her research has been presented at international conferences, such as the Annual Academy of Management Meetings and Babson College Entrepreneurship Research Conferences, among others.
