Laurence obtained a Master in Business Engineering (major in Operations Management) at Ghent University in 2016. In September 2016, she started her Ph.D. at Ghent University at the department of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Service Management. Laurence conducts research on the development of entrepreneurial opportunities. She has particular interest in the role of cognition, learning, and openness in the entrepreneurial process.
