Choose your way to exercise

Sports at Ghent University can be flexible or structured. There are three options: Flex Sport (pay per session), a course series (10 classes per semester), and a sports pass (a subscription for rugby or football). Each card, course series, or pass is valid for one sport only. If you want to practise several sports, you need to buy separate cards or passes.
Flex Sport – pay per session
Buy a 1-, 5-, or 10-session card and attend at your convenience during fixed weekly time slots.
-
Flex Play (unsupervised): volleyball, basketball, futsal and badminton.
-
Flex Training (instructor-led): hockey (beginners and advanced players), judo, self-defence, pickleball, spikeball, waterpolo, and swim training.
Course series – 10 classes per semester
Register and pay in advance for a complete series: 10 classes per semester (8 for tennis), with a fixed group, at fixed times, and taught by experienced instructors. This allows you to build a structured routine and make steady progress.
Activities: BBB, hatha yoga, power yoga, Pilates, mindfulness, music body workout, cross-training, box fit, Krav Maga, and tennis.
Sports pass – subscription for one or two semesters
A sports pass allows you to participate in training sessions at the Blaarmeersen sports and recreation park for one semester or a full academic year:
-
Rugby sports pass: participation in rugby training sessions.
-
Football sports pass: participation in football sessions.
