Group workspaces

Got a group project to tackle, or need a place to brainstorm? Our group workspaces can be used for informal educational activities related to your studies or work.

Booking  

All group workspaces can be booked through Affluences. Your reservation is only valid once you have received a confirmation code. Make sure you receive one before showing up.  

During the exam study period, the rooms become study spaces and can't be reserved.  

Found your room? Just scan the QR code at the door to let us know you've arrived. If nobody checks in, the reservation will be cancelled and the room will be made available to other students. 

Rules 

When your session is over, please leave the room as you'd like to find it: 

  • Take your notes, cups and other belongings with you. 

  • Put tables and chairs back in place. 

  • Leave the room clean and ready for the next group of brilliant minds. 

 

To make sure everyone has a chance to use the rooms: 

  • You can book one room per day. 

  • A booking can last up to 4 hours. 

  • You can reserve rooms for a maximum of 12 hours per week. 

Equipment 

The Magnel circulation desk lends out useful equipment, including: 

  • Flipchart board 

  • Whiteboard markers and erasers 

  • Portable projector 

  • HDMI, DVI, VGA and USB-C cables
