Hanne Hellin
Hanne Hellin obtained her master's degree in Special Needs Education, from UGent in 2022. Her master's thesis investigated the accessibility of mental health care for individuals with substance-related disorders.
After completing her education, she began working as a family counselor, gaining experience in dealing with challenging behavior. In 2023, Hanne joined as a doctoral fellow in the Department of Special Needs Education, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Elisabeth De Schauwer, within the Disability Studies research group. Her current research focuses on dealing with challenging behavior in regular primary education.
