Johnny Fontaine

Johnny R. J. Fontaine is associate professor the Department of Personnel Management, Work and Organizational Psychology, Ghent University, Belgium. He received his Ph.D. on the cross-cultural comparability of value assessment based on the Schwartz Value Survey from the KULeuven, Belgium. Ever since equivalence and bias in cross-cultural assessment have been an important aspect of his research interests. Most of his actual research focusses on emotions, emotional intelligence, and its assessment in a cross-cultural context. He teaches psychological assessment and cross-cultural psychology at Ghent University and is currently the president of the European Association of Psychological Assessment.
