Short Bio

Nadja Delbarre is a mediator, legal conflict specialist and trauma practioner with over two decades of experience in fairness dynamics and high-conflict interpersonal situations. She joined the ADR Department at Ghent University as a researcher in 2025, following more than ten years of designing and teaching mediation programs there.

Her interdisciplinary work integrates legal reasoning, affective neuroscience, trauma-informed practice, and relational psychology to understand how fairness ruptures emerge — and how they can be repaired — across systemic, relational, and neuro-embodied dimensions.

As a CFDR member, she contributes to advancing the Centre’s mission of innovating dispute resolution through interdisciplinary research and practice.
