Edward Huyghe
After completing his Master's degree in Law and Master's degree in Multilingual Business Communication at Gent University, Edward embarked on his professional career in 2016. For the first two years, he worked as a legal consultant at a legal consultancy specializing in IT, IP, and privacy. He then spent six years fulfilling the dual role of in-house lawyer and Data Protection Officer (DPO) at the Ghent-based software company Teamleader.
Since 2023, Edward has been working as a freelance legal professional under the name "Paraf," specializing in IT and privacy. After completing teacher training (2024-2025), he has combined this role with a job as a secondary school teacher and a teaching assistant for Street Law at Ghent University since September 2025.
