Fien De Meyer
Fien De Meyer studied law in Ghent and Madrid and subsequently obtained an additional master's degree in Conflict & Development Studies. She interned at Amnesty International Flanders and worked as a policy officer at Vredesactie.
Fien then began a PhD at the University of Antwerp on the right to abortion. As part of this, she also worked as a researcher for the expert committee that evaluated Belgian abortion law in 2023.
After her PhD, Fien joined the Flemish Human Rights League, where she works at a policy officer. Fien is a teaching assistant at the Centre for Law, Families and Diversity, where she supports the teaching of Professor Pieter Cannoot.
