Small Animal Clinic
Make a donation or organize your own fundraiser so that we can continue to provide the same high-quality veterinary care to dogs and cats.
The Ghent University Small Animal Clinic is world-class, and we want to keep it that way. It is the only university animal clinic in Flanders. We invest heavily in teaching students and in scientific research. As a result, we have a great deal of expertise in-house and can offer a wide range of treatments. We mainly care for and treat cats and dogs with complex or less complex conditions. We see animals with a wide variety of complaints or illnesses. These range from vomiting to epilepsy, allergies, cancer and heart disease. Patients are often referred to us because they have more complex problems that we can help with.
continue to provide the same high-quality veterinary care to dogs and cats;
train tomorrow's vets and specialists in an even better working environment;
give scientific research an extra boost.
A donation to the clinic?
Your donation to the clinic can be used to purchase medical equipment for treating our patients, or for scientific research, for example into specific conditions in dogs and cats.
Your donation to the clinic is also welcome at account number BE26 3900 9658 0329, with the reference ‘clinic KHD’ or ‘DI_1238’. Your donation is tax deductible from 40 euro on an annual basis.
I am happy to coordinate with donors who are willing to support our clinic with a special donation. As a token of our appreciation and gratitude, we can provide a nameplate, for example in memory of the donor's pet. If anyone would like to support the clinic in another way, I would be happy to discuss this.
