Help Bioscience Engineering Students with a Microscope Donation

Your donation of 1.000 euros can provide one of the 100 new microscopes needed by the Faculty of Bioscience Engineering. 

By donating, you are investing in the future generation of scientists and researchers who will drive innovation and progress in our society. The microscopes are essential tools that will allow students to engage in hands-on, experiential learning and build their natural curiosity.

The current microscopes used by the faculty date back to the 1950s and urgently need replacement due to poor image quality and a lack of spare parts. This impacts the quality of teaching and practicals, wasting valuable time testing which microscopes are usable and helping students who experience technical problems. By donating, you can ensure access to top-quality microscopes that will enhance the students' education and future careers.

How your donation makes a difference

A donation of 1.000 euros will provide one microscope, which you can name and will be used by the students for decades to come. Donations are tax deductible, costing you only 550 euros after tax deduction. To donate, please transfer funds to account number BE26 3900 9658 0329 with the mention "microscope." For bank donations of 1.000 euros or more, you can also have your name or company name on the microscope by sending an e-mail to the contact person of this initiative (see contact details at the bottom of this page) after your donation.
