Electronic Residence Card A. Beperkt verblijf (former card A)

Mentioning ‘refugee’ or with additional certificate of ‘recognized refugee’ awarded by the 'Commissariaat Generaal voor Vluchtelingen en Staatslozen'
With a certificate of 'Victim of human trafficking' awarded by a governmental recognized organisation (vzw Payoke, vzw Pag-Asa or vzw Sürya)
With a certificate of ‘Subsidiary Protegee’ awarded by the 'Commissariaat Generaal voor Vluchtelingen en Staatslozen'
With a certificate of 'Temporary Protection' awarded by the Foreign Affairs Service (This A-card is valid until the 4th of March 2025).
Foreigners with on the 31th of December of the academic year involved, a min. 12 months legal and permanent residence in Belgium (not in the context of work or higher education)
In the context of a reunification with a foreigner; this foreigner has to meet the exemption conditions or has to have on the 31th of December of the academic year involved a min. 12 months legal residence permit for working or studying in Belgium. A Certificate of family composition valid at enrolment or the latest at the 31th of December of the academic year involved is necessary.
