Monitoring metabolic response to nutritional interventions in dairy cattle
Our metabolic monitoring strategies are applicable to both temperate and tropical regions as well as large-scale farms and smallholder dairy operations. In temperate, large-scale dairy farms, our research includes e.g. improving the nutritional management of dry cows to optimize metabolic performance during early lactation, as well as evaluating the impact of specific nutrient combinations or additives on metabolic health and adaptation during early lactation.
In tropical regions, we have extensive experience in evaluating local feed resources and formulating cost-effective diets to enhance productivity and nutritional efficiency. Our metabolic monitoring tools, such as DBS biomarker profiling, help assess the success
