Arrival in Brussels National Airport (Zaventem).
Follow the signs to the railway station (basement level -1). More information can be found on the airport's website.
Buy a ticket to Gent Sint-Pieters. For more information on the railway schedules, visit the website of the Railway Company.
All trains with destination Oostende or Knokke-Blankenberge stop in Gent. Preferably take an Inter City train (IC), other types of trains stop more frequently. The travel time to Gent with IC train is about 50 mins.

If you don't have any luggage, you may decide to walk from the station. It takes about 25 minutes. Have a look at the map above.
By tram: From the main exit of Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station, take a tram towards Campus Coupure. Depending on the line, get off at either Gent Rozemarijnbrug or Gent Theresianenstraat. From there, cross the road and follow the canal on foot. Campus Coupure will appear on your left (on the left side of the canal).
The research group is located in Building F on Campus Coupure. Our offices are situated on the first floor, while the laboratory facilities are located on the second floor. Please use the entrance on the north side of Building F (see map below).

On the highway (E40: Brussel/Oostende or E17 Antwerpen / Kortrijk), take the exit "Gent Centrum".
At the bifurication, just before the overpass, take the exit "alle richtingen" (and NOT Gent Centrum).
Under the overpass, take the extreme left lane and make a left turn at the first traffic light, direction "Zelzate / Eeklo". You are now on the city ring-road
Continue the ring-road direction "Zelzate / Eeklo" (St. Lievenslaan, Citadellaan, Ch. De Kerckhovelaan, Ijzerlaan, Godshuizenlaan, Martelaarslaan) until the 8th traffic light (the one after a church).
Turn right into the “Nieuwe Wandeling” street, continue for about 500m until you reach the canal “Coupure”. Do not cross the water, but turn right into the street “Coupure Links”. About 300m further, on your right hand side you will see the main entrance of Campus Coupure.
