Bio

Francesco Carere

After a master’s degree in Mathematical Sciences with specialization in applied mathematics, I continued my journey in the high-performance computing group at CMCC where I worked as a scientific software engineer to implement, verify and optimize ocean models for HPC. I also completed a post-degree on Applied AI at Università del Salento. At Ghent University I am doing a PhD on error quantification of rounding error in land-atmosphere models.
