Reproduction of companion animals
Students
Theory
Master students of veterinary medicine are educated on “reproduction of companion animals”. The topic are ‘specific examination of the reproductive tract’ in the first master and ‘reproductive cycle, pregnancy, parturition and related pathologies’ in the second master.
Clinic
Students of 2nd and 3rd master participate in the clinic in order to deal with problems related to reproduction in dogs and cats. Under the supervision of specialists, we offer them the opportunity to assist in some clinical cases.

Veterinarians
Besides the education for students, we offer education and presentations for veterinarians. The topic of these presentations, organised by the Academie voor Diergeneeskunde or on request by veterinary associations, are the latest knowledge of reproduction of companion animals. Besides, we also offer practical training on breeding management, semen evaluation and artificial insemination of dogs and cats.
