Application

The application procedure consists of several steps.

1. Application to the program

To apply for the PhD program, please send the following documents by email to nuclear.fusion@ugent.be:

• A motivation letter, including your scientific interests (e.g. specific topics, preference for theory, modeling, experiment, data analysis, ...)
• Your curriculum vitae, including degrees, skills, etc.
• A copy of the official transcripts of records of all years of study (bachelors, masters, ...)

The application deadline is April 30, 2024.

2. Application at CTU

CTU considers two formal application deadlines, typically in May and December.

3. Interview

After the CTU application deadline, an online interview of the candidate by the Supervisory Board is organized.

4. Application at UGent

Candidates, who have been accepted to the program following the interview, will finally be invited to also register at UGent for the PhD.
