Non-thermal plasmas can also be used to tackle environmental problems. RUPT focuses on the abatement of volatile organic compounds in waste gas streams. Through intensive collaborations with partners in the field of heterogeneous catalysis, plasma-catalytic reactors are developed and tested for their removal efficiency.
