Kobe Tilley
Kobe graduated as a Historian with a Master's thesis on a spatial approach to the waste disposal problems around Ghent in the 1970s and 1980s (Ghent University, 2020). He then took the additional Master of Science in Urban and Spatial Planning (Ghent University, 2022) and graduated with a thesis focusing on the urban heat island effect. After working for a year as a spatial planner at Department of Environment (Flemish Government), Kobe started a PhD in 2024. During this research, he will focus on post-growth approaches to spatial planning, with an emphasis on temporary use of space.
