Projects

The bulk of the research program of the department is carried out in projects under the supervision of a faculty staff member and under the operational responsibility of either a PhD researcher or a postdoctoral fellow supported by technical and administrative staff.

Most projects are externally sponsored either by funding agencies such as FWO, IWT on a national level or the Seventh Framework Program on a European level.
