Electromechanical systems consist of multiple oil lubricated bearings. These bearings operate under different and varying conditions. However, a single oil circuit is used to lubricate multiple bearings. As a consequence, each individual bearing operates under suboptimal conditions leading to an increase in the total cost of ownership (TCO). Therefore, a system will be developed to actively control lubricant flow and temperature for each single bearing.
