Presentation by a Young Scientist Award at CFD in medicine and biology II

David De Wilde has won the prize "Outstanding Oral Presentation by a Young Scientist" at the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in Medicine and Biology II conference in Albufeira (Portugal). The title of the talk was: "Hemodynamic Assessment of the Carotid Bifurcation in an Atherosclerotic Mouse Model Using FSI Simulations". The accompanying paper will be published in the special issue of the conference in the Journal of Biomechanics and the paper will be titled: "Assessment of Shear Stress Related Parameters in the Carotid Bifurcation using Mouse-Specific FSI Simulations".
