Vacancy for a PhD student in the framework of "DuneFront" European project

The Magnel-Vandepitte laboratory for Structural Engineering and Building Materials at Ghent University, Belgium, is looking for a motivated PhD student to do research within the European project DuneFront. The research includes (1) the development of an environmental rating system for Dune-Dike hybrid solutions for coastal protection, linked to LCA and LCC analysis; (2) the design of cementitious materials and complex shapes for 3D printing of dike elements that promote biodiversity.
