Save the date: China Partners Academic Forum 2025 - CPAF2025: June – November 2025

(06-06-2025) With the CPAF 2025 Webinar Week from 14 till 18 November 2025

In September 2021, the 1st edition of the China Partners Academic Forum took place on the occasion of the 15th Anniversary of our platform. Thanks to the success of that first, fully online edition, the Forum was turned into an annual event. The second edition in 2022 showed a considerable growth from 8 to no less than 17 webinars, while the third edition in 2023 consisted of 9 seminars, of which 3 on-site. Last year’s edition counted 13 webinars and seminars in total.

With this annual CPAF, the East Asia Platform aims:

  • to promote research cooperation between Ghent University and its partner institutions in China
  • to create opportunities for researchers to exchange information about their academic achievements as part of existing bilateral or multilateral cooperation
  • and to provide a platform for alumni to interact with each other as well as with their former professors and colleagues at Ghent University

Throughout the years, the Forum could count on the strong support of the Belgian Ambassadors in Beijing, former Ambassador Jan HOOGMARTENS and current Ambassador, Mister Bruno ANGELET, who, each year, hosted a closing event in their residence to officially conclude the CPAF.

This 5th edition of the CPAF – our CPAF 2025 - consists of 13 webinars/seminars, of which 7 on-site and 6 online
