Micromass Quattro Ultima LC-MS system

This mass spectrometer features a triple quadrupole analyzer configuration with LC, nanoLC, and CE coupling facilities. It has outstanding sensitivity and is particularly suited for target compound analysis.

The Headspace gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer

This configuration consists of a Hewlett-Packard GC-MS-DS performance system which includes a HP6890 gaschromatograph, a HP5973 mass selective detector with turbo-pump mainframe and a suitable data processing unit. The PTV-injector is a Gerstel CIS-4 cooled injection system, used with liquid nitrogen for trace enrichment. Furthermore a Gerstel multipurpose sampler (MPS), including a 100 sample tray, is present (mostly used in head-space mode).
