Rodolfo Hernandes Bonan began developing scripts and analytical tools in R during his Master’s studies in 2019 (Master in Civil Engineering, State University of Maringá, Brazil), focusing on pharmacokinetic statistical analysis and data visualization. He has prior experience in developing physiologically based pharmacokinetic (PBPK) models for special populations and large molecules, as well as population pharmacokinetic (PopPK) models using nonlinear mixed-effects approaches. In February 2026, he joined the Laboratory of Medicinal Biochemistry and Clinical Analysis, as a PhD student, where his current research focuses on modelling the effects of uremic toxins on pharmacokinetics in patients with chronic kidney disease.
Main interests: PBPK modelling, chronic kidney disease, pharmacometrics, statistical analysis, data visualization, R programming.
