A guided, preventive and curative oral care programme. Through oral health coaches, we make the path to the dentist more accessible to people in disadvantaged communities.
About the Project
A healthy mouth for everyone? Unfortunately, that is not the reality. A lot of people in poverty face financial, administrative or social barriers to getting to the dentist. Gezonde Mond has a management agreement with the Flemish government to take initiatives around this and started the project 'Everyone's Mouth Healthy'. It organises training courses for welfare workers and free mouth screenings for target groups.
