Impact of Age and Frailty on Drug Disposition in Geriatric Adults

 

Description

 
Frail geriatric patients may present with altered pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics due to aging and comorbidity. In this line of research, we investigate drug disposition in geriatric patients, in order to derive evidence-based dosing regimens. 

 

The ongoing research is performed in close collaboration with clinicians from the Department of Geriatrics of the Ghent University Hospital (prof. M. Petrovic and dr. A. Brys)
