Accurate assessment of renal function in critically ill children

Description

This line of research focusses on identification of reliable methods for accurate assessment of kidney function in critically ill children and studying the consequences of altered kidney function on drug exposure in critically ill children.

The ongoing research is performed in close collaboration with clinicians from the neonatal and pediatric ICU unit (prof. S. Vanhaesebrouck and dr. Evelyn Dhont).
