Timetables

The timetables of academic year 2023-2024 are available from 14 July 2023.

You can consult your timetable in two ways.

1. via the study guide. Choose academic year 2023-2024 on the left and click on your study programme. You can find the timetable via the tab ‘Programme summary’.

On this PDF you will find all course units of the study programme: mandatory course units, all elective course units and exercise groups for some course units. In order to find your timetable, we recommend you check in the study guide which course units belong to your standard learning track year (column MT) and then use the filter function:

  • Click on ‘first, second or third year’. Here you can see in column MT1 which course units belong to your year (= 1, 2 or 3). In the column next to it, you can find the semester.
  • Then click on ‘course schedule 1st semester’ in the blue bar
  • Click on ‘filter’ in the upper right corner
  • Click on ‘course event’
  • Select the course units that apply to you
  • Click on the green button ‘filter’

Your timetable will then appear.

2. via oasis.ugent.be. Click on ‘My calendar’ in the left column. This brings you to the TimeEdit (TE) Viewer.

Students who participate in the exams of the resit examination period, will only be able to do so after the end of that period (after re-enrolment).
For those students ‘My calendar’ still links to Centauro.

You arrive at a page with the options ‘Personal schedule’ and ‘Search: Schedule 23-24’:

Which timetable?

Before submitting your curriculum, you consult your timetable via the study guide or use the option ‘Search: Schedule 23-24’ in TimeEdit to find the timetable of a standard learning track year to create your personal timetable (see information on filtering above).

In the timetable of a standard learning track year, you see all course units that are on the study programme.
In case of a personalised learning track (GIT), you can consult the timetables of several standard learning track years.

Attention for students of the first year of the standard learning track (BA1): when you open the timetable, you might see many more course units than you actually have in your study programme in BA1. So it is best to complete your curriculum as soon as possible and submit it for approval in order to see your personal timetable. (More information about completing a curriculum).

After submitting your curriculum for approval via Oasis (by selecting the curriculum and then clicking the 'submit for approval' button), you can access the ‘personal schedule’ option. Important: once your curriculum is in ‘proposal’ status, you cannot make any changes to it yourself.
