Lies Lahousse

Lies Lahousse is pharmacist and epidemiologist, and holds a doctoral degree in Medical Sciences.

Her group performs population research focused on precision medicine including optimizing the benefit risk ratio of approved drugs. By international collaboration with other large and well-phenotyped longitudinal cohort studies (e.g. CHARGE, ICGC and FDNY cohort), she studies the heterogeneity among phenotypes, endotypes and underlying genetics with the ultimate goal of improving care of patients with chronic complex diseases e.g. asthma and COPD.
